After looking at different ways to promote my open-to-the-public hands-on demos, I've decided to use meetup.com. This is a fabulous website that gives everyone the means to find or start up local groups for people to get away from their computer, and get together, have fun, and DO stuff!

Ottawa area women can become a member for free (just click on this link:"Ottawa Women with Tools" Meetup group) and sign up for my next hands-on demo. This week, it's an intro on how to patch drywall. There's also a quick survey so you can tell me what you want to learn about or practise.
For other types of events, visit my Event page at www.toolpartiesbykaren.com where you'll see my available dates for your private hands-on demo, the Tool Party for your friend's bridal shower, or a workshop where you can learn how to fix that THING at home, yourself!
